Business Policies

The following policies apply to all customers who do business with Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart. We try to keep the information on this page up to date, but please contact an Ace Mitchell representative with questions. Policies may change without notice.


New customer requirements 

Ace Mitchell is proud to be an industry leader in the wholesale distribution of bowling products. Our customers are bowling centers, pro shops and fellow distributors around the world.

Ace Mitchell does not sell retail to individual consumers or wholesale to Internet-only companies. Qualifying customers must hold a current business license registered to a bowling company. We require our pro shop customers to be located within a bowling center or have a retail storefront and must provide bowling services, such as the ability to fit and drill bowling balls. Internet-only companies do not qualify nor do we solicit Internet-only customers. Ace Mitchell strives to level the playing field for our customers and reserves the right to refuse sales to any account not operating within our requirements.

Terms and conditions 

Terms: Net 30 days on all accounts with approved credit. Orders will be shipped C.O.D. to those accounts that are 60 days past due. In addition, an interest chard of 1 1/2% per month, which is equivalent to 18% per annum, will be charged on all outstanding balances in excess of our credit terms. Any checks returned will be assessed a $30.00 bank charge and the account will be placed on a C.O.D. cash-only basis.

Credit: Companies who have not established credit with Ace Mitchell are required to fill out completely a credit application with three (3) credit references and their bank. New customers will remain on certified check C.O.D. terms until all paperwork has been returned. Customers will be responsible for freight charges on refused C.O.D. orders.

Prices: Prices printed in our price list are subject to change without notice due to market conditions.

Monthly statements: Net 30 customers receive a monthly statement for reconciliation purposes. Any payment received in our office by the 26th of the month will be reflected on the current statement.



Ace Mitchell offers a wide variety of shipping methods, so you can choose the option that meets your needs for speed and cost. Many customers of Ace Mitchell and Ace Mitchell East receive next day ground service at no addition cost. Contact your sales representative for more information about this option.

All ground shipping orders of $500.00 or more are no charge for orders shipped with in the continental United States, provided that your account is current. Extra fees may apply due to new UPS guidelines. Oversize pages are $50.00 extra, and there is a hazardous materials charge of $17.00 for certain items.

Other shipping options include ground, overnight and second day service from UPS and FedEx, private trucking carrier, delivery for customers on our sales routes, pick-up for those nearby our Akron or Long Island locations, and weekly cargo containers for international customers.



All items purchased from Ace Mitchell must be satisfactory. If not they may be returned for full credit within ten (10) days of the purchase with an authorization number and memo showing an invoice number for proof of purchase.

Claims for shortages and damaged shipments must be made within ten (10) days after receipt of shipment.

In order to process your returned merchandise, you must first call for a return authorization number. Also, with your return we must have a memo with the invoice number for proof of purchase. MERCHANDISE IS SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING CHARGE. All UPS call tags or freight on returned merchandise is returned at customer expense. DISCONTINUED MERCHANDISE CANNOT BE REUTRNED FOR CREDIT.



All items purchased from Ace Mitchell must be satisfactory. All orders called or faced in before 4:00 p.m. will be shipped the same day.

We will replace any merchandise within the warranty period. You must first call for a return authorization number. Items returned at customer expense unless defective prior to use. The return period for shoes is 90 days. The return period for bags is 90 days. The return period for balls is the length of the manufacturer's guarantee starting at the retail sale date.


International ordering 

  • All Ace Mitchell international shipments are released on a prepaid basis only.
  • Payments can be made with wire transfer for direct deposit of funds, or credit card, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express/
  • Letter of credit is subject to a $500 service charge.
  • We service only international distributors, bowling centers and proshops.
    International Invoicing.

Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart shipping documents will at no time be altered or misrepresented on any customer entry document or invoice in order to avoid or reduce tariffs or other import fees. We will not misrepresent country of origin of product in order to gain access to a preferential duty program to which you are not legitimately entitled. We feel these activities violate international custom laws and put the reputation of Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart in jeopardy.

These activities could expose an International importer to civil and or criminal penalties and possible seizure of the product. Product once seized, is difficult and costly to retrieve and could result in a total loss for all parties. Seizure of product provided by Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart could also jeopardize payment.

At no time is it acceptable for an Ace Mitchell employee to alter a shipping document in order to circumvent foreign customs rules and regulations


Privacy and security 

This Privacy & Security Policy is to inform you of the information gathering and security practices of this web site. At Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart, we are committed to providing a secure online shopping environment while protecting your privacy.

Privacy: When you come to the Logon Screen, we will ask you for your Name, Customer ID, Password, Email Address, and a Password Hint. This information is used to setup your account with acemitchell.com so that you can place orders. During the Checkout Process, we will ask for your P.O. Number, Name, Email, Shipping Address, and type of Payment. We collect this information to complete your order and to notify you of your order status.

All personal information that you enter on acemitchell.com is protected and used so that we can better serve you. We will not share any personal or identifying information to any third party.

Security: At acemitchell.com, we guarantee the security of your personal information and credit-card detail when you shop with us. We use 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the personal information and credit card detail you provide during the order process.

You should always check to make sure that you are connected to acemitchell.com over a secure connection. You can check this connection in one of 2 ways:
